GC Supanova

Attending GC Supanova!!!!

So for anyone who reads this and is going, please say hi <3 I'll be the wearing:

I am sometimes painfully shy at approaching cosplayers BUT friendly to those who do approach so please save a wave and a hi for me if you do see me <3

(Still fixing up a lot of stuff on the costumes, as usual, procrastinated and died hehe) But it's the home streeeeeeeetch!!! Not far to go!!!

On other news, I've started on an armor piece for Synchronicity (Vocaloid)

My latest progress:

Base paint has been done but I've put it aside in favor of fixing up other costumes for GC Supanova. I had hoped we would have finished it by now but there was just too little time

And my extra worbla did not come so I am missing a leg guard, elbow guard, knee guard and shoe guard. Hoping to see this completed before May ends though

Cosplay Plans 2013

_{OH HAI!! It's been awhile!

Sorry for being AWOL a lot! Things always seem to happen in real life XD

I promised to be a little more active (hopefully) this year in terms of cosplaying

My cosplay plans for 2013 are:
1. Mirai Suenaga (completed!)
2. Vocaloid SeeU (in the works)
3. Vocaloid Synchronicity Meiko
4. Alice the Madness Returns Royal Dress
5. Diablo Wizard (my fav class!!)
6. Voltes V Megumi Oka (commissioned)
7. Saber Wedding Ver (commissioned)

I was planning to go to Dragon*con this year but this was railroaded by money I was really looking forward to seeing friends and experiencing an American con. On the other hand, this leaves me free to go to more cons in Australia and one in the Philippines! YAY!

Still Alive...

Success in actually posting another journal entry that is

Hello everyone!!! It's been awhile! I've been trying to get back on my feet in Real Life and in cosplaying. For awhile there, I was in a bit of a depressed state and I didn't think that was worth writing a journal about! I am now better and ready to take on the world!!! I have a new job which keeps me busy most days and have begun to take more interest in cosplaying again

I went to Brisnova two weekends ago and had loads of fun as Batgirl (made by GSTQ who is too too epic btw). Watching the Madman National Competition has fired me up to try to do my own cosplays again (hopefully this time we'll succeed lol). Drafting my plans out for 2013.

Also trying to make plans to go to Dragon*con 2013. Fingers are crossed that the budget comes through!!!

So just in case anyone was curious, yes, I am still alive and kicking. How have you been, DA

Can't wait to eat Singaporean food again too

I missed all the Old Chang Kee, nasi lemak, bak kwa and chili crab!

Will be hitting up People's Park for cloth too

YAY Almost 24k!!!

Is it so sad that I am happy for a 24k hit mark? XD So so so sad! But also yay!!!

Life is very hectic at the moment with all the moving stuff happening. Finally moving back to Brisbane is slightly scary as it is filled with uncertainty for me. Its not going to be the same Brisbane I left behind 2 years ago mainly because I do not have the stability of having a job waiting for me when I move.

Having to be dependent financially on someone else is a strange new thing for me after I've jumped into the working pool, its really time to just take a good long hard look at myself and decide what I really want to do in life.

I am still hoping I can land a job or maybe strike out for myself in the areas of interest like anime/manga/cosplay related stuff but that seems more like a far-off dream

I'm rambling, I know. I'll go back to assessing once I finally find a place in Brissy

Apartment and basic needs first before we go doing crazy stuff, yes?

Going to seriously miss Singapore, I have never felt so loved by people as I did here <3
